Where to park in Poulton-le-Fylde

Poulton is pretty good for parking, despite the appalling circular one-way system.

Teanlowe Centre

For most purposes, the Teanlowe carpark (next to Booth's supermarket) is fine. Parking is free, with no need to obtain a ticket or shopping receipt. It is convenient for all of the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as for St Chad's church and the High Street with its stocks and whipping post. However, there is an absolute maximum of 3 hours, with no means to extend that by paying, and you are highly likely to get a parking ticket if you overstay your welcome.

Wheatsheaf Way

If you need to park for longer, the Wheatsheaf Way car park, behind the Wetherspoons pub (The Poulton Elk), is very convenient. You have to pay but it is only £3.50 for the whole day from 6am to 6pm. Overnight, 6pm to 6am, is £2.

Wyre Civic Centre

Free of charge. It is convenient for Breck Road and obviously for the council offices.

Poulton railway station

Completely hopeless. There are only 20 spaces, all of which are taken by 6.30am every day.
